If you’ve outgrown your plan’s slot count but don’t want to switch your entire subscription, addon slots let you scale up without disturbing anything you’ve already got running. They’re billed and renewed separately from your main plan, but show up right alongside your existing streams in the same dashboard. Here’s exactly how to buy them, what the packages cost, and the hard maximum you’ll eventually hit.

What an addon slot actually is

Your main plan gives you a fixed slot count — 3, 5, or 10, depending on which tier you’re on. Addon slots are extra capacity layered on top of that, purchased and tracked independently. They use the same dashboard, same bulk controls, same everything as your main slots — the only real difference is how they’re billed and renewed.

The current addon packages

Addon plans come in five sizes, each available on monthly or yearly billing:

• +5 slots — $8.50/month, or $68/year
• +10 slots — $15.50/month, or $124/year
• +20 slots — $28/month, or $224/year
• +50 slots — $60/month, or $480/year
• +100 slots — $110/month, or $880/year

Yearly billing works out cheaper than paying monthly across twelve months, so if you’re confident you’ll need the extra capacity long-term, that’s the better value option.

How to buy your first addon plan

1. Open the addon section on your dashboard, or click “➕ Get Extra Slots” if you’ve hit your main plan’s slot limit.
2. Choose monthly or yearly billing.
3. Pick a package size — the cards clearly show the slot count and price for each.
4. Complete the purchase through the linked checkout page for that package.
5. Once purchased, either the addon activates automatically or you’ll receive an addon key (starting with AD-) to apply manually in the addon modal.

Once active, a new “Addon” section appears on your dashboard with its own usage bar, expiry date, and slot count — separate from your main plan’s display, but sitting right below it.

Adding slots within your addon plan

Buying an addon plan gives you capacity — it doesn’t automatically create the slots themselves. From there, add individual addon slots the same way you’d add a main slot: click “+ Add Addon Slot,” name it, paste the stream key, and it’s created within your addon plan’s allowance. You can also use the bulk stream creator, which automatically routes extra streams into your addon capacity once your main plan slots are full.

Upgrading to a bigger addon package

If you already have an active addon plan and want to move to a bigger one, you don’t need to cancel first — select the larger package and purchase or apply the new key directly. Any unused time on your current addon plan gets converted into credited extra days on the new one, so you’re not losing value by upgrading partway through a billing cycle.

The maximum you can add: 100 slots

There’s a hard ceiling here — 100 addon slots is the maximum per PassKey, on top of whatever your main plan already includes. Once you’re at that cap, the addon purchase screen switches to a congratulations message confirming you’ve reached the “Turbo Plan” maximum, and the option to buy further addon packages disappears. Every smaller addon size (5, 10, 20, 50) also becomes unavailable to select once you’re already at or above that tier, since you can’t downgrade through the same purchase flow.

What to do if you actually need more than 100 addon slots

If your main plan plus 100 addon slots genuinely isn’t enough, the recommended path is getting a second, separate PassKey with its own dedicated slot allocation rather than trying to push a single PassKey past its addon ceiling. This keeps each PassKey’s billing, renewal, and slot management independent and easy to track, rather than trying to force everything through one account.

Renewing and cancelling addon plans

Addon plans run on their own expiry date, separate from your main plan. Renewal uses a dedicated key format (ARN-) tied specifically to your current addon size — a +10 addon needs an ARN-SL10- renewal key, for example, not a generic one. If you no longer need the extra capacity, cancelling the addon plan removes it entirely, including permanently deleting every addon slot and its media — so it’s a genuine full removal, not a downgrade.
