Two small quality-of-life features make everyday use of the dashboard feel less generic and a lot quicker to move through: theme customization, which lets you set your own accent color, spacing, and text size, and keyboard shortcuts, which let you control streams without reaching for the mouse every single time. Neither changes what the dashboard does — both just change how comfortable and fast it feels to use.

Changing your theme color and layout

Where to find it

Open the Power panel (the lightning-bolt icon on your dashboard) and go to the UX tab. Theme settings sit right at the top.

Setting your accent color

You’ll see a row of color swatches — click any one and it instantly applies across your entire dashboard: buttons, highlights, active states, all of it switch over to match. There’s no need to save separately or refresh the page; the change takes effect immediately and is remembered the next time you log back in.

Adjusting density

Three density options control how much breathing room sits between elements on your streams grid:

• Compact — tighter spacing, more slots visible on screen at once. Good if you’re managing a large number of streams and want to see more without scrolling.
• Comfortable — the default balance between readability and screen space.
• Spacious — more breathing room per card, better if you’re working on a larger screen and prefer a roomier layout.

Adjusting font size

A slider lets you scale the base text size up or down across the dashboard. This is a small thing, but it matters if you’re working on a high-resolution display where default text runs small, or if you just personally prefer larger, easier-to-scan text throughout.

Resetting everything back to default

If you’ve experimented and want to start over, a single reset button clears your accent color, density, and font size all at once, returning everything to the original defaults.

Dark and light mode

Separate from the accent color and density settings, there’s also a straightforward dark/light mode toggle available via the moon or sun icon floating on your dashboard. This flips the entire interface between a dark and light base theme, independent of whatever accent color you’ve picked — so you can run a light background with an orange accent, or a dark background with a blue one, whatever combination you prefer.

Keyboard shortcuts — controlling streams without the mouse

These work anywhere on your dashboard as long as you’re not currently typing inside a text field (so they won’t accidentally trigger while you’re naming a slot or writing a note).

Using the bulk action shortcuts together

The S and X shortcuts are the ones that save real time once you know the workflow: press B to enter bulk select, tick the checkboxes on the slots you want, then press S to start them all or X to stop them all — no clicking through a toolbar button required. If you press S or X without having anything selected, a small hint reminds you to enter bulk mode and select slots first, rather than doing nothing silently.

Why R matters more than it seems

The dashboard already auto-refreshes in the background every few seconds, but pressing R manually forces an immediate reload — useful right after you’ve made a change somewhere else and want to confirm it’s reflected without waiting for the automatic cycle.
